Doctoral Programs
Thank you for choosing to explore the Gari School of Government and International Politics’ doctoral programs. Our mission is to develop future intellectual and political leaders in their respective political fields. Our graduates have obtained faculty positions at a number of top U.S. and European Universities. Many of our graduates, however, have successfully applied their political science training to non-academic fields, pursuing distinguished careers in the government, international organizations and international media. The doctoral programs place a greater degree of focus on the fields of political theory, international relations, political economy, government management and public policy. The Georgian studies and the Russian studies programs are offered to exceptional students who want to attain expertise in the particular geopolitical fields.
Our faculty is comprised only of exceptional academics. Becoming a faculty member at the Gari School of Government and International Politics is a highly selective process.
